We are very actively engaged with our smallholder farmers and rural communities who grow our crops, working with them to develop, produce and market sustainably grown rice.
Although rice is the most widely consumed staple food, its cultivation is highly water intensive and is the largest consumer of water in the agriculture sector. We are looking to develop and deploy improvements to the growing process to reduce water usage and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We are recognised among the top 10 Basmati rice exporters globally, we are engaged at the farm level with domestic procurement, processing, exports and branded distribution. Our basmati rice business is strengthened by our upstream processing mills, storage, blending and packing units in strategically located paddy growing areas so we can reduce the transportation impacts on the environment.

We are engaged in the merchanting, wholesale distribution and branded products from key sugar-growing countries including Brazil, Thailand, India and Europe. With over 20 existing destination markets, we plan to build upon the domestic wholesale and retail distribution opportunities that we have identified.
We source sugar products from our suppliers and deliver to our customers around the world. This has ensured that we have developed long-standing relationships with our suppliers and our customers to the benefit of everyone in the supply chain.
We have used our geographic presence and supply chain infrastructure developed for our rice products for our sugar products. These bring operational efficiencies to both business streams in the African and the Middle Eastern markets.

Grains, Pulses & Oilseeds
Our business is focussed on farmgate procurement and distribution of food grains. Our unique competitve advantage is our infrastructure led origination across the CIS and Australia.
We grow and procure a wide range of products covers: wheat, barley, peas and oilseeds. These are originated from key growing areas including the CIS, the Americas, Australia, and Europe.
We sell directly into 30+ destinations across East Africa, Middle East, South Asia, and South-East Asia.
By maintaining logistical infrastructure (e.g. warehouses, silos, processing plants and rail cars) in the regions where our products are both sourced and sold, we have the capability to effectively navigate local trading conditions, supply and demand dynamics and market fluctuations. Providing us with a key competitive advantage.
Our presence is such that we are one of the largest Full Container Load (FCL) exporters from Ukraine and Australia.
By combining our upstream expertise along with our downstream logistics support, we have been able to become a key participant in the grains, pulses & oilseeds market.
The Fresh Produce business is one of our key growth areas. It complements our overall farming strategy and allows us to use our geographic presence and existing supply chain infrastructure for this product range bring efficiency savings.

We are looking to build exceptional cashew sourcing networks across Africa and Asia with our dedicated teams working closing with the farming communities all year round, providing timely insight on raw cashew nut quality and crop profiles.
We are building long-term relationships with large growers, co-operative and local trader networks to improve resilience into our supply chain in order to minimize the risk of supply interruptions for our customers.
We aim to be deeply invested at all points of the cashew value chain, from smallholder farms through to the most technologically advanced processing facilities. Across Africa and Asia, we aim to have more than five cashew processing and packaging facilities in operation. All of our facilities will be HACCP, ISO and BRC-certified, enabling full traceability of our produces to international standards. In India and Vietnam, we are building fully-mechanized processing facilities that operate to superior food safety and hygiene standards.
As part of our goal of improving sustainability, we will coordinate economic, social and environmental impact programs across our operations in Africa. We aspire to support 5,000+ farmers in this region by offering fully traceable Organic and/or Fairtrade cashews.
In addition to providing large-scale employment opportunities, we are running a number of initiatives with the view of effectively engaging our workforce and associates. These include local rural women empowerment, we will also endeavour to run health campaigns, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention initiatives, adult literacy programs, productivity-based incentive schemes, as well as annual cultural celebrations.

We aim to manufacture and market a range of branded packaged foods for consumers across multiple markets, riding on the growing demand potential of Africa as well as our long presence on the continent.
